What are the differences between economical housing and social housing ?   The main difference between social housing and economical housing is that economical housing is sold to the families that intend to purchase housing but cannot afford to buy the private housing. While social housing is rented to families with financial difficulties, but the total income of the family cannot exceeds the stipulated standard. What are the obligations of social housing tenants ?   In accordance with the regulation of Decree-Law No. 69/88/M, tenants should - go to designated places and pay the rental punctually; - allow Housing Bureau to conduct housing inspection when necessary; - not use the apartment for other purposes or permit other people to use the apartment for other purposes; - not do anything that affected building safety and sanitation; - not obstruct the project which Housing Bureau defined as necessary; - not permit anybody who is not mentioned in the agreement to stay in the apartment for any reasons, except the children of the tenant or registered family members who are born during the valid period of the agreement or adoptees of the family member; - inform Housing Bureau immediately if the apartment has any damage, defect, risk or advice in advocacy from other people; - not operate any project without getting permission from Housing Bureau; - inform Housing Bureau within 5 days if any member of family has passed away or has not resided in the apartment over 45 days; - live in the apartment at least 2/3 of a year annually; - comply with the housing regulation; - return the apartment when the agreement terminated.
