Purpose
"Interest-free Loan Scheme for Building Maintenance" is a kind of interest-free loan for apartment owners regulated by the apartment ownership system. Its purpose is to grant for paying the expenditures of maintenance or repair of buildings’ common areas in accordance with the proportion occupied in the total value of the building.
Requirements
| Applicant should be: |

Apartment owner of a applied building ; |
| (2) |
A holder of a valid identification document issued by Macao Special Administrative Region; |
| (3) |
A juridical person registered in accordance with Macao Special Administrative Region. |
Applicant Qualification
The building age should be at least 10 years (in accordance with the issued date of the building licence) and had registered at Real Estates Registry as a residential or commercial use. The building age limitation does not apply to removal of unauthorised building works, maintenance or repair of slope or retaining wall.
Application Procedures

The loan has to be applied by submitting the application form to Housing Bureau (with applicant’s and representative’s signatures). |

The following documents should be provided: |

Photocopy of applicant’s identification document; if the applicant is a juridical person, a registration proof should also be provided; |

Valid proof of real estate registration or written report issued by Real Estates Registry; |

Project notice or photocopy of project licence issued by the supervising department; |
| - |
Photocopy of project budget indicating the price, specification and payment method of the project; |
| - |
Photocopy of resolution of the project approved by the apartment owners’ meeting; |
| - |
Photocopy of the detailed list of project cost’s repartition in accordance with the proportion of the apartment. |

If the applicant is a juridical person, the following documents have to be submitted: |

Photocopy of the act of incorporation |
| - |
Photocopy of juridical representative’s identification document |

Applicant should also submit a declaration letter of reimbursement which is attached with the application form; |
| (5) |
Housing Bureau can ask the applicant to provide other information, particularly the information related to project operation, in order to keep the completed file of applicant. |
Apply via Building Authority(Building Management Committee)
Applicant can join the Interest-free Loan Scheme for Building Maintenance via building authority by submitting completed application form (with applicants or representative’s signatures) and the required documents of the application. Building authority will then submit such application form to Housing Bureau.
Application Process
Building Management Fund Committee will inform the result of the application to the applicant in a written form within 45days after submitted all the required documents.
